Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) in Chalk River leads in the development of peaceful applications of nuclear technology. Using its expertise in physics, metallurgy, chemistry, biology and engineering, CNL remains a leader.
It is continuing its revitalization into an enabler of business innovation and technology transfer.
As it decommissions the aging infrastructure and builds new, world-class science facilities, it has identified gaps in service capabilities within its contractors.
Starting next week CNL and its major contractors will be hosting a series of information sessions, and a workshop to educate local businesses on steps that can be taken to meet the necessary qualifications to secure sub-contract work.
