Ottawa, ON…On behalf on the Parliament of Canada, Cheryl Gallant MP is pleased to announce that the House of Commons is now accepting applications for Parliamentary Pages for the 2012-2013 school year.
The House of Commons Page program provides young Canadians with the best seats in the country to learn about our government and politics, listen to our Parliamentary debates, and share a year-long experience with fellow young Canadians from across the country.
Pages play a key role in the operation of the House of Commons. Pages deliver important messages and documents to members, linking Members to the Hill office and serve House officials in various capacities. It is an exciting and educational experience, where you will always be kept engaged and active.
Eligible candidates must be graduating from a secondary school with at least an 80% average, fluently bilingual, and planning to pursue full-time university studies in the National Capital Region starting in September 2012.
