Palmer Rapids, Ontario – Cheryl Gallant, Member of Parliament for Renfrew—Nipissing—Pembroke, was pleased to visit Palmer Rapids to talk with constituents about federal issues of concern to them.
“I was pleased to visit with constituents from the south western part of the riding,” said MP Gallant. “I make a point every summer to visit all corners of the riding, to bring my office to those who cannot make the trip to Pembroke. It is interesting to hear constituents’ points of view, and help those who require assistance with Federal matters.”
This summer, Cheryl Gallant has planned clinics for Matawatchan, Whitney, Palmer Rapids, Calabogie, Deep River, Renfrew and Barry’s Bay. These clinics not only provide people in the less central areas of the riding with a chance to meet and talk to their MP, but it also provides them with assistance for passport applications, Old Age Security, Canada Pension Plan and Employment Insurance claims and concerns.
