Carbon Tax Election Petition to Call an Election Whereas: The prime minister and the Liberal Party of Canada has lost the confidence of the House of Commons and from Canadians; All opposition parties have indicated their clear intention to vote against the Liberal government in all confidence matters at the next available opportunity; he prime minister announced his resignation on January 6th, 2025, after losing the confidence from his own caucus, and has prorogued Parliament until March 24th, 2025, to install a newly unelected prime minister; During prorogation, Parliament is unable to meet and respond to the United States’s imposition of a 25% tariff on all imports coming from Canada, that would economically devastate Canadians; and; A majority of Canadians are demanding change in the next federal election as soon as possible.
