Ottawa, ON – MP Cheryl Gallant paid tribute in the House of Commons to a remarkable young man from Beachburg, Ontario. That young man is 17-year old Nathan Blok, a rising star in the Canadian Racing Circuit, who recently appeared on CBC’s Dragon’s Den. Nathan quickly won over all of the Dragons with his enthusiasm, passion, and smart marketing skills which landed him a $25,000 investment from Boston Pizza Chairman Jim Treliving.
As MP Gallant remarked in her tribute, this investment was a wise decision by the Dragon. Nathan is proving himself on the track, and has his sights set on a much larger goal – the international racing circuit. As Nathan’s coach stated to the Dragons, Nathan has the potential, the skills, and the speed required to be the best Canadian Formula One driver since Jacques Villeneuve.
MP Gallant wishes all the best to Nathan as he pursues this dream.
Go Nathan Go!
